Alan H. Barbanel Stephen D. Treuer John R. Lisenbery Stephen L. Cope Eileen J. Gaisford JOHN R. LISENBERY has worked with the group of attorneys who formed BT since 1993. His practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith issues in the context of professional liability and commercial general liability policies. In addition, Mr. Lisenbery has experience representing insurers in coverage and litigation matters involving directors and officers liability policies, excess liability policies, policy reformation and rescission. His reported decisions include Denny's Inc. v. Chicago Ins. Co., 234 Cal. App.3d 1786 (1991), American Arbitration Association v. Superior Court, 8 Cal. App. 4th 1131 (1992) and Simmons v. West Covina Medical Clinic, 212 Cal.App.3d 696 (1989). Mr. Lisenbery received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California in 1985. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1988. More recently, Mr. Lisenbery completed a Masters of Architecture degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. Mr. Lisenbery is a member of the American Bar Association, the Century City Bar Association and the American Institute of Architects.
